Dave Iannicca, 23, a guitarist for Destructor, was killed on Jan 1, 1988. Robert Bedzyk was convicted for his murder.

Why was Iannicca killed? Iannica was in a private party when Bedzyk gatecrashed it. Bedzyk was asked to leave but he fatally stabbed Iannicca outside.

Bedzyk was sentenced 15 years to life in prison. Bedzyk has applied for parole and his hearing before the Ohio State Parole Board will be in May 2009. This will be his third try.

Iannicca’s family, relatives, friends and Destructor’s band members have organized the campaign to oppose the parole of Bedzyk.
