Dave Gahan, the lead singer of Depeche Mode, became ill on May 12. The Depeche Mode’s concert for the day in Athens, Greece, was canceled. Twenty thousand fans had gathered at Terra Vibe Park in Athens when Gahan was taken ill in his dressing room. The organizers had to disappoint the fans by telling them the concert was canceled.

Gahan was sent to hospital. The organizers of the concert hinted that Gahan may have fallen ill due to “gastroenteritis”. Gahan and the Depeche Mode have a gig on May 13. Dave Gahan will perform if he is up to the mark.
