Darren Mack sentenced for Charla Mack & Judge Chuck Weller

Darren Mack was tried and convicted for the fatal stabbing of his wife, Charla Mack. Mr Mack was ordered to pay $590 million in the lawsuit which awarded the money to his daughter Erika Mack and the estate of Charla Mack. Erika Mack was given $530 million while Charla Mack’s estate was given $60 million.
Judge Weller had ordered Mack to pay his estranged wife $10,000 monthly in a temporary alimony arrangement since she filed for divorce in 2005. Mack refused and filed for bankruptcy to avoid paying. Darren Mack thought his family court judge, Chuck Weller, was corrupt.
On June 12, 2006, someone took shots at Judge Chuck Weller through his window in his chambers.
CBS News reported that Darren Mack and Charla Mack used to frequent the swingers’ club until Erika was born. Charla wanted out of the swingers. That was when their domestic problems grew serious.
Darren Mack has been sentenced to prison for killing Charla Mack and shooting at Chuck Weller. Mack insisted he was innocent.
Darren Mack’s story has been made into a documentary for CBS’ “48 Hours Mystery”.
