Darla Jackson: Darla Jackson book & Caroline mystery (photo)
By Clarencia Cynrae on July 4th, 2009Darla Jackson, a writer in Kentucky, wants to investigate into the case of a dead woman nicknamed “Caroline”. Caroline was found dead along the side of a road in Harlan County, Kentucky, in 1969.
Caroline was found by a man picking flowers along Little Shepherd Trail in 1969. The body was decomposed and partially clothed in a sweater designed for men. Caroline’s body had a ticket stub.
The case went cold in 1969. Now, with advancing technology and DNA profiling, it may be possible to trace who Caroline really is. Darla Jackson wants to exhume Caroline’s body and get her DNA profile entered into the database. If there s a match, the true identity of Caroline may finally be known.
Darla Jackson is hopeful that the mystery of Caroline may be solved.
Who is Darla Jackson? Ms Jackson lives in Harlan County and has published a book on the local haunts.
