Daniel Wilson, 39, was executed on death row in Ohio. Wilson was convicted for burning a woman alive. Wilson killed Carol Lutz, 24, in 1991. Wilson locked Lutz in her car’s trunk and set it on fire.

Wilson said Lutz and himself had been drinking prior to the incident. Wilson said he could not recall how Lutz ended up in the trunk of her car.

Wilson apologized to Carol Lutz’s family. On Wed, June 3, Daniel Wilson was executed at 10:33 am in Ohio.
Carol’s mother, Martha Lutz, said her family waited 18 years and 29 days for Daniel Wilson’s execution.
