Daniel Rozak sentenced Clifton Williams for yawn: Rozak Williams controversy

Clifton Williams, 33, was sentenced to the maximum of 6 months in prison for yawning in court. Circuit judge Daniel Rozak and a prosecutor in the courtroom thought Clifton Williams yawned to disrupt court proceedings. The Joliet, Illinois state attorney’s office spokesperson claimed they thought Williams made a loud attempt to disturb the court.

Williams was jailed on July 23 and he has to sit in jail for at least 21 days. The Williams family members have protested.

Daniel Rozak is known as a strict and tough judge.

    typically American. Not strange that prisons are overcrowded. USA is a ridiculous society. Judge is an idiot and needs mental aid.
