Daniel Dae Kim’s driving under the influence charge
By Clarencia Cynrae on September 13th, 2008Daniel Dae Kim, an actor in “Lost”, pleaded no contest to DUI charges. Daniel Dae Kim has to pay $500 fine, $212 court fees and do 72 hours of community service.
Daniel Dae Kim, 40, is the actor for Jin-Soo Kwon in “Lost.” Daniel Dae Kim was arrested when police saw him driving in a reckless manner in Honolulu on Oct. 25, 2008. Daniel Dae Kim blew 0.168, which was more than double the legal limit. The judge spoke to Daniel Dae Kim to remind him that he was seriously impaired with 0.168 and it was dangerous of him to be driving at that level of blood alcohol. Kim’s driving license was revoked for 6 months. He had a drug-and alcohol assessment. Kim was repentant.
Daniel Dae Kim was the third actor in the cast of “Lost” to have an arrest for DUI in Hawaii. Michelle Rodriguez and Cynthia Watros were axed from “Lost” after they were convicted of driving under the influence.
