Anita Dunn is leaving her post as the White House Communications Director. Why is Anita Dunn leaving as the Communications Director?

Dan Pfeiffer, the deputy Communications Director, will be promoted to replace Anita Dunn.

Dan Pfeiffer was the traveling Press Secretary for Obama while he was on the campaign tour. Pfeiffer has worked in South Dakota senator run campaigns for Tim Johnson and Tom Daschle. Pfeiffer is a veteran in politics’ press.

The official reason was that Dunn was returning to the firm, Squier Knapp Dunn. To reassure people and maintain the good image of Dunn, the press release said Anita Dunn would be continuing to advise President Obama after leaving the White House.

Anita Dunn is allegedly leaving on her own steam. Dunn wants to spend more time with her husband Bob Bauer, and her son. Mr Bauer works for Obama as his personal attorney.
