November 13 2009 – Dale Bozzio, the singer of “Missing Persons”, has been jailed. Bozzio was earlier caught having a large number of pets in her home. Bozzio went away and when she retuened, some animals had died while some were sick. Bozzio was jailed because of the charges levelled against her. The judge gave Bozzio 90 days and ordered Bozzio to do 250 hours of community service.

Nov 3 2008 – Dale Bozzio’s home was filled with cats. Twelve cats had to be put down because they were suspected to be carriers of infectious diseases. Bozzio’s neighbor found many cats in her house and some were in bad condition. Bozzio was away so her neighbor checked in. Dale Bozzio was a former Playboy Bunny and singer in Missing Persons. Dale Bozzio still sings, tours and had released an album earlier in 2008.

Dale Bozzio’s manager, Joe Nelson, said Dale Bozzio gave her friend the task of caring for her cats. Dale Bozzio wants to pass the message that she wants to give away her cats to good homes in Boston- New Hampshire areas.

Dale Bozzio was the lead singer of a band who performed in the 1980s. Bozzio was the singer for Missing Persons. Bozzio’s neighbours realized she was not at home for a week and went inside. Some cats were dead inside the house, some were struggling to live and the house was dirty and smelled. Dale Bozzio’s lawyer, Dennis O’Connor said Bozzio had arranged for a person to attend to her cats while she was away but that person failed to show up.

Dale Bozzio has been charged with three counts of animal cruelty and is due to appear in court in Dec.
