Cynthia Darlene Stout, 43, was arrested when her children were burned by sulfuric acid and left at a café in Woodbine. Stout’s 3 kids were of ages 14, 7, and 4. Stout’s youngest kid, 18 months old, was left with a woman nearby. Stout is from Gainesville, Texas.

Stout said that she was traveling with a man in a pickup truck. Stout told police the man had intended to throw sulfuric acid on her but it landed on her children. Stout tried to leave the scene but was caught.

Four children were flown by air ambulance to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas.
