Crispin Glover tried to kick David Letterman with his heavy, high heeled shoe. Letterman said it was the first time a guest tried to kick him on the Late Night Show. Video is below.

Actually Glover tried to demonstrate his manliness by showing his biceps and karate kick. Glover aimed it at Letterman and that could have been misconstrued.

Letterman wanted to play it safe so Glover’s interview was shortened. Letterman said Glover was sent home safely in a cab.
