Blount had a plea deal when he pleaded guilty to the charge. The judge rejected Blount’s excuse that the marijuana was for his personal use. Blount was fined $10,000. Corie Blount has to surrender two vehicles and $34,000 in cash seized in the bust.

Corie Blount was arrested and charged with possession of $50,000 worth of marijuana. Corie Blount is a former NBA player. Blount was arrested in a drug bust in Butler County.
Corie Blount was caught picking up a mailed package of the weed. There was 11 pounds of marijuana in it. Police searched Corie Blount’s home and found 2 more packs of 11 pounds and 7 pounds of marijuana. Police said there was a total of 29 pounds of pot. Blount’s cash of $29,500, 3 vehicles and 3 guns were confiscated.
Corie Blount was released after he posted $10,900 bond on a charge of felony drug possession. Blount is the assistant volunteer men’s basketball coach at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. Volunteers are usually unpaid and nobody wondered how Corie Blount funded his lifestyle.

Corie Blount has been offered a plea deal. Blount pleaded guilty to two felony possession counts. The maximum prison sentence is 40 years. In return, the judge will drop marijuana trafficking charges against Blount.
The judge will pass his sentence on May 13.
