Corey King is a suspect and he is charged with the murders of a woman and her three daughters. The four female bodies were torched. Sonya Evette Durfield, Ebony Durfiield, 14, Melinda Durfield, 12 and Kayla Durfield, 9, were killed and their Lancaster home was burned.

Corey King is also a suspect in the murder of Evelyn Mosley, 91, of Altadena. Police suspected King because of the same pattern of crime that was observed in Mosley’s death. Evelyn Mosley’s body was found after a fire.

Corey King has been charged with four counts of murder of Sonya Durfield and her three daughters. Prosecutors claimed that Corey King committed torture on some of the children. Multiple murders could mean hat King might get the death penalty. King had additional charges like arson and theft of a vehicle.
