Coral Newman, 40, has suffered serious burns to her body after being set on fire. The new report said Newman was involved in an argument with her ex-boyfriend, who then poured petrol on her and lit her ablaze. Newman was in her home in Abingdon, Oxfordshire on Tue. evening, Dec. 23.

Coral Newman was alight when she ran outside her home and her neighbors poured a bucket of water over her. Newman was conscious and able to speak as she was treated by paramedics. Newman was sent to the specialist burns unit at East Grinstead, West Sussex.

Mark Bray, 29, of Abingdon, Coral Newman’s boyfriend, has been charged with attempted murder.
