Preslee Wells and Kylee Wells of Calumet, 3 months old, are the first known American Indian conjoined twins. Preslee Wells and Kylee Wells were separated on Mon., Jan 19. The Wells babies were conjoined at the chest and did not share major blood vessels.

Preslee Wells and Kylee Wells were born on Oct. 25 2008. Their mother, Stevie Stewart, learnt she was carrying conjoined twins at 20 weeks when her ultrasound scan revealed this. The Wells twins were delivered by Caesarean section at 34 weeks.

Preslee Wells & Kylee Wells’ father, Kyle Wells, said he wanted to thank the medical staff of the Children’s Hospital at Oklahoma University Medical Center. Kyle Wells pleaded for prayers and thanked all supporters.
