Cody Moore, 13, was missing in Sam Houston National Forest. Moore has been found. Moore had a map and compass when he went the woods as part of an exercise in navigation skills.
When Moore failed to emerge on the same day, Sunday, March 1, rescue teams searched for him. On Monday, March 2, Moore was located by a helicopter and rescuers on foot brought him out. Cody Moore survived the freezing Sunday night alone.
