Cody Barr, 19, and a teen, 16 years old, were arrested on suspicion of theft and burglary. Dolores County Sheriff found out Barr and his accomplice had planned to shoot the principal of his school, Dove Creek High School. Another victim Barr and the teen targeted was the Dolores County Sheriff’s undersheriff.

Police recovered 7 rifles, shotguns, firearms and one unit of M1 carbine in the 16 year old teen’s home in Dove Creek.

The 16 year old teen and Cody Barr were wanted criminals in Colorado. There were arrest warrants for them. The juvenile was suspected of stealing from his grandparents’ home. They lost cash and between 7 – 10 weapons.

The juvenile was turned out of school last fall when he showed up in school dressed in a trench coat and he painted his face white. He never returned to school after that day.
