Cobie Smulders is pregnant with her first born. Smulders will give birth in spring 09. The father of her baby is Taran Killam, who played Blauman, Barney’s ex-colleague in the CBS show “Scrubs”.

Cobie Smulder, currently acting in “How I Met Your Mother”, has a character, Robin, who declared children were off limits to her. It remains to be seen if Robin will have a change of heart and have a pregnancy written into the script or Robin (Cobie Smulder’s pregnancy) may be left out of the script.
