Carol Cafferty, wife of Jack Cafferty, died suddenly this morning, on Sept 5.

Jack Cafferty did not appear on Cafferty Files because he was attending to the arrangements. Another CNN TV presenter, Wolf Blitzer, made the announcement regarding Carol Cafferty. Carol Cafferty was married to Jack Cafferty for 35 years. Jack Cafferty acknowledged his love for Carol when e dedicated his book to his wife, Carol Cafferty. Jack Cafferty revealed how he overcame his addiction to smoking because he feared losing his wife, Carol Cafferty. Jack Cafferty related how fame did not affect Carol Cafferty as she humbly made the mistake of guessing he worked at a gas station.

Carol Cafferty is survived by her two daughters, Leslie Cafferty and Leigh Cafferty. Jack Cafferty has another two daughters, Julie Cafferty and Jill Cafferty. Jack Cafferty has grandchildren too but they were not named in some reports. Condolences to the Cafferty family.
