Cilla Black, the ex matchmaker on Blind Date, was being investigated for some charges. She launched her Destiny Calls Ltd on ITV when the company in charge had its own rules against endorsements of any kind on its program.

Now, her £1.50-a-minute (USD $3 per minute) psychic phone call service faces allegations of fraud. Various types of employees took calls to offer opinions on dealing with callers’ problems. A newspaper, “The Mail On Sunday”, told its reporters to call undercover and pose a series of imaginary problems. Real psychics would have sniffed out the fraudalent claims. Futhermore, the advice dished out had no relevance to the questions asked.
