1300 years have passed in Narnia. A wicked king, King Miraz, snatched his nephew, the good Prince Caspian’s throne. Evil and blackness descended upon Narnia. The Pevensie children return to Narnia to help Aslan. The Pevensies arrive at Cair Paravel ruins, on an island in the Eastern Sea. Their arrival is like the style of Harry Potter; via the train platform. J.K. Rowling could have drawn inspiration from C.S. Lewis and used the famous train platform as a teleport into another world of Harry Potter’s magic world.

The Pevensies rescue Trumpkin, the dwarf. Trumkin teaches the Pevensies the old magic.

Prince Caspian uses Lucy Pevensie’s magic horn to summon the 4 Pevensie children to come to his aid. Prince Caspian and his small army of Narnians fight the larger army of King Miraz.

The ending of the story of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.

King Miraz’s men prepare to conquer the simple Narnians by building a big bridge across the river to the forest. The Final showdown comes in two stages. The leaders decided that to avoid great bloodshed on both sides, a mano is arranged between the vain Miraz and Peter Pevensie. The mano meant that the winner-takes-all. The final war Scene was the climax and the best scene of the movie.

King Peter fought King Miraz in the sword battle. Miraz lost. Peter Pevensie gave the honor of killing Miraz to Prince Caspian but he could not kill his evil uncle in cold blood. Prince Caspian spared Miraz’ life. One of Miraz’s trusted General pretended to help the tired and wounded king to stand up but he plunges a weapon into Miraz. King Miraz died. Treason and mutiny happened. This general then pretended that Miraz was killed by Prince Caspian. His army was standing at a long distance away and they could not see the truth of what happened. They took his word for it. The army charged towards the fortress of the Narnians.

The enemies had primitive but effective canons. The firepower broke the rocky fortress and caused the stones to collapse and a cave-in. The Narnians were ambushed. They had no where to run. In front of them was the enemy. Behind them, was the collapsed fortress. Things were very desperate.

Suddenly, a line of trees marched up to the battle field. The roots could stretch and overthrow the evil canons. The enemies were afraid and started to retreat. Queen Susan told the Narnians that Lucy had succeeded in contacting Aslan and enlisting his help from the nature. The Narnians gave chase until they reached the river.

There was no crossing at the bridge. Aslan, the mighty lion, and Lucy stood at the other end of the bridge. Now, the tables were turned against the enemnies. They were ambushed with Lucy and Aslan at one end and the Narnians at the other end. They had to cross the bridge.

Aslan gave a mighty roar. The Water Spirit was summoned. He was a giant. The  great Water Spirit pushed the waters in the river and the bridge was pushed up. All the bad soldiers on the bridge and in the water were given a good drenching.

When the evil general was crushed by the Water Spirit, the entire battle was over. The scene cut to the winding down of the after battle. Everybody thanked the great Aslan.

Prince Caspian was crowned King of Narnia. Aslan opened the magic doorway to the other world of human beings. Anyone who wanted to cross over were welcomed to do so. The Pevensies decided to leave too. Lucy Pevensie could not understand why Peter decided to  leave. Peter told her that in time, when she matured, she would be able to understand why they had to return to their current time frame on earth.

Susan and Prince Caspian said goodbye. Susan whirled around for a first and final kiss with Prince Caspian. Prince Caspian pleaded with her not to leave but Susan said that it would not work out. Susan Pevensie reminded Prince Caspian that she was 1300 years older than him.

When teh Pevensie children reach the other side of the magic portal, they found themselves at the exact point of location before they entered Narnia.

The end.
