Christopher Wood, Francis Wood dead in Middletown Frederick (photos/ video)
By Clarencia Cynrae on April 18th, 2009Updated – Christopher Alan Wood, 34, was found dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. His wife, Francis Wood, 33, and three children had traumatic cuts on their bodies. The medical examiner will determine the cause of their deaths later.
Christopher Wood, Francis Billotti Wood and their daughter, 2, were found dead in the master bedroom of their home. The Woods’ two sons, ages 4 and 5, were found dead in their beds.
Police found weapons. There was a shotgun and other weapons which may have been used to give the victims cuts. There was a note but police have yet to release the contents of the note. It seemed this was a murder-suicide.
Francis Wood taught religious education in the Holy Family Catholic Community church. Mrs Wood’s parents were founding members of the church.
The Wood home had a family pet; a dog. It was found unharmed and removed by Animal Control.
Christopher Wood was a salesman for CSX Railroad. Wood left behind at least 5 notes. Police said he might have had some psychological issues and financial problems. The Wood family had settled in Middletown after they moved from Florida. Francis had family in Middleton.

Frederick News post Middletown five dead.
Frederick News post said five people were found dead in a home in Frederick County. Frederick is in northwest Maryland. A family member discovered the mass deaths on Saturday, 9 am. The Frederick County sheriff spokesperson said the five victims were members of the same family.
The home was in Frederick County’s Middletown. The house was situated in the small community of less than 3000 people. Middletown is around 10miles west of Frederick. More information will be released later.
