Christmas Miracles 2009

By Clarencia Cynrae on December 26th, 2009

There are 12 days in the Christmas celebrations. May there be 12 miracles to save people and the world. We have seen at least two big miracles that saved 278+1 persons. May there be 10 more Christmas miracles to save people and the world. The collection of Christmas miracles is growing since this post was first published on Dec 26.

Christmas Miracle #1.
On the first day of Christmas miracles, December 25, Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab’s bid to blow up Delta Airlines Northwest Flight 253 was foiled. On the first day of Christmas, Jasper Schuringa stopped Mutallab potentially killing or injuring 278 passengers.

Christmas Miracle #2.
On the first day of Christmas, the second Christmas miracle was seen. Natalie Flores, of Phoenix, was a 5 year old girl who was abducted in broad daylight. Police in Phoenix were determined to search ceaselessly for Flores. Some people were saying things like we’re not gonna lose this one, not after losing Sarah Foxwell in Delaware.

The police eventually found Natalie Flores alive at 9 pm, on the same day she was kidnapped. Police called it the Christmas Miracle.

Christmas Miracle #3.
The third Christmas Miracle happened when Sandi Castro, 40, and her fiancé, Bruce Migliaccio, 53, returned a wallet containing $5000, to its owner, Robert Slatkin. On Dec 23, 2009, Castro found the wallet bulging with cash at Bloomingdale’s in New York. Castro said she felt she had to return it and contacted American Express to ask them to notify the owner of the credit card in the wallet.

Christmas Miracle #4.
The fourth Christmas Miracle was reported on Dec 26, in Haberfield, Australia. Lisa Swinton bought a banana from her local supermarket and when she brought it home, she found an image on the banana skin. The image of black skin discoloration looked like an image of Jesus.

Christmas Miracle #5.
The fifth Christmas Miracle happened on Dec 24, 2009, Christmas Eve, when Tracy Hermanstorfer and her newborn son Coltyn were revived after childbirth. Tracy Hermanstorfer’s heart stopped beating for 4 minutes after she fell asleep just before she was expected to go into childbirth. Doctors failed to revive her and operated to deliver baby Coltyn by Caesarian. Coltyn was born weak. Mike Hermanstorfer thought he was going to lose both his wife and son. Doctors revived Coltyn and staff wheeled Tracy into a theater for surgery when she slowly revived. Doctors had no explanation on how Tracy Hermanstorfer’s life was saved when nothing was done yet to revive her. Mike Hermanstorfer said he believed the Hand of God was upon them to save mother and child.

In this age of skepticism, its hard to believe in miracles. I know I’m going to get chewed up by skeptics. We have seen two Christmas Miracles. May there be many more. May you experience your own Christmas miracle. If you have, do share with us here.
