Christine Beatty was released from prison early Monday morning at 12:10 am. Beatty was accompanied by her lawyer, pastor, and other people. Some reporters and spectators were waiting to welcome her walk into freedom.

Christine Beatty said she was anxious to return home to her children. Beatty worked in jail and the judge ruled that she was entitled to an early release before she scheduled release on April 15. Christine Beatty appeared in court Friday to testify that she worked because she understood that would reduce time off her original jail sentence.

Beatty was sentenced to 4 months but served 69 days. Christine Beatty will be under 5 years of parole.
