Marc Rubin, 46, was discovered dead in Pine Barrens in December 2008. His daughter, Christina Rubin, 23, and her boyfriend, Jeffrey Leinheiser, of Jenkintown, have pleaded guilty to an open charge of murder.

Christina Rubin and Jeffrey Leinheiser tried to dismember the corpse of Marc Rubin by using a chain saw. Rubin and Leinheiser then carried the body to the woods in a part of New Jersey and left him there.

The open charge will let the judge determine their degree of guilt in the murder, the amount of conspiracy to murder and the abuse of the corpse. Christina Rubin’s defense lawyers tried to argue that she was a victim of physical, mental and sexual abuse at the hands of her father. The Prosecutor said there was no evidence of abuse to back up this claim.
