Charles Barkley met Christian Abate, at Saloon in 1997. Christian Abate was a busboy at Saloon, an Italian restaurant. Christian Abate disclosed he discontinued his education due to a financial squeeze. Charles Barkley offered to pay. Now, Christian Abate thanks Charles Barkley for his second chance in life. Abate will graduate in May 2009.
