Wylde claimed he did not speak to Gooden before the name calling incident near the souvenir shop.

Gooden has refused to confirm or deny Wylde’s claim.

Wylde claimed he heard Gooden’s reference to him although Gooden didn’t directly talk to him.

Mark Cuban said he heard Wylde and his friend heckling the Dallas Mavericks. Cuban said it was serious to make an accusation that someone said a homophobic slur. It was equally serious to call someone by a slur term.
