Chris Baker, 29, died in the fatal plane crash where only Travis Barker and DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) walked out alive. Chris Baker was also known as Lil Chris Baker.

Travis Barker and Lil Chris were business partners and friends. Sources said Chris Baker had got married recently and had a new baby. Chris Baker had worked as Barker’s assistant in the reality TV show, “Meet the Barkers.” Baker died in Columbia, of South Carolina. Condolences and prayers to Mrs. Chris Baker and her baby. There were reports that said Chris Baker’s wife was in labor and Travis Barker promised his good friend and business partner that they would return to Ca. in time for the Baker baby’s delivery. The group had performed a free concert in Columbia, South Carolina and were rushing to get back. That was why the Barker entourage took the ill fated Learjet N999LJ.

Chris Baker was the manager of Travis Barker’s store called Fast Life. Fast Life has become the gathering point for supporters who were shocked by the tragedies of four lives lost when the Learjet crashed. One person said the boutique that sold punk attire for men and women was quiet. Without Chris Baker, the staff was lost in mourning. The sales staff was re-arranging stock around the shelves. They did not put the sound system on for the music because they were in bereavement for Chris Baker and the others who perished in the plane crash. Fast Life staff was also worried for their boss, Travis Barker, who had sustained burns from his waist downwards.
