Chocolate vat death
By Clarencia Cynrae on July 8th, 2009A temporary worker fell into a vat of melting chocolate and died. Cocoa Services Inc’s worker was hit by a machinery blade before falling into the vat. Other workers switched off the machine and tried to pull him out but he died before their efforts could save him. The man, 29, of New Jersey, worked fro Lyons and Sons, who handled the contract for mixing the raw chocolate before shipping it off for processing into candy.
