China’s He Kexin breaks Olympic rule by being under 16 years old
By Clarencia Cynrae on August 15th, 2008In November 3 2007, Xinhua news agency wrote that China’s He Kexin was 13 years old. Now, 8 months later, He Kexin is competing in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, whose rules state that the athlete must be at least 16 years old.

When the western media picked up on the age issue of He Kexin, Xinhua’s news item disappeared from their site. Other countries have talented gymnasts below 16 too. It is unfair if China can break the rules.
