Chillingham Castle: Chillingham Castle Peter Citara sentenced

Chillingham Castle is a medieval castle in the village called Chillingham, in Northumerland. Chillingham Castle is close to the border between England and Scotland. Chillingham Castle has a long history and is rumored to be the most haunted place on earth. Now, it is a country house hotel.

Sir Humphry Wakefield, the present owner of Chillingham Castle, found the key of his gun cabinet missing. When the Castle was searched, 21 valuables were found in Peter Citara’s quarters. Peter Citara, 31, was Chillingham Castle’s head of security. Citara secretly hid £1200 worth of historical weapons. Citara had packed the items. It was suspected Peter Citara was getting ready to leave for his native Slovakia.

Peter Citara was arrested on Nov. 6. When Citara went to court, he was given a relatively light sentence. Read the verdict on Peter Citara here.
