Chico DeBarge’s last music album was with his group. The album was called Bad Boys (1987) and was the group’s last album. Soon after its release, Chico DeBarge were arrested for drug trafficking and sentenced to six years imprisonment.

In 2009, Chico DeBarge will release his new album, Addiction. It is kind of omniscient. Hopefully, it refers to his music addiction and not something else.
