Cherry Jones and Sarah Paulson have split. Jones and Paulson were dating girlfriends who broke up recently. Jones announced she and Paulson have separated but remain dear friends.

Jones came out with her lesbian relationship with Paulson in 2005. Jones said an acceptance speech at her Tony Awards night that highlighted her relationship with Paulson.

Jones said she and Paulson had the happiest break up that she’s ever experienced. Jones said she has started to return to her single status and was enjoying it. Jones, 52, has almost promised never to get into another relationship again. Instead, she wants to deepen her friendships and enjoy her solitude.
