Cherie Johnson, an actress in Family Matters, is now a restaurant owner. She used to act as Maxine in the TV show.
Johnson works at her restaurant, as a waitress. The eatery in Houston is in a struggling neighborhood. She hopes to turn the ‘hood around and bring back some life into the place. The menu has all the traditional comfort food, at low costs of around $5 per dish. No one has an excuse not to be able to afford to eat out.
Cherie Johnson is engaged to Ricky Romance. He’s the brother of B2K singer, Raz-B. Ricky Romance is a former convict with parole obligations. Johnson and Romance wanted to sell their idea of a reality TV show, to several networks.
In Jan 2011, Ricky Romance was with his brother, Raz-B, when they weer attacked by security guards belonging to a rival, Yung Joc. Romance claimed it was because his brother sang a song to criticize Yung Joc.
When Raz B was scheduled to perform on stage, at the concert, in Atlanta, he claimed that Yung Joc’s bodyguards prevented him from getting on stage. Romance tried to help his brother to Despite Romance speaking out against Yung Joc, the latter did not respond to the media inquiry for his side of the story.
