Chen Luyu is a TV personality in China. Chen hosts a TV program called “A Date With Luyu”. Chen has 140 million daily viewers. Oprah Winfrey has 7 million daily viewers in the US. Chen has been compared to Oprah and has been called “China’s Oprah”.

Chen Luyu was interviewed by Oprah. Ironically, Chen told her that the Oprah Winfrey Show inspired her as she watched every episode to get ideas. Chen often uses controversial topics like lesbians, transsexuals and AIDS patients. These are sensitive subjects in China.
