Chen Jin, 13, of China, tried to commit suicide so that she could donate her liver to her dying father. Chen Jin ingested about 200 sleeping pills. Chen Jin wrote a suicide note for her mother and explained her actions.

Chen Jin was saved in the nick of time but she is far from danger. In hospital, Chen Jin drifts in and out of consciousness and has suffered burns from her electric blanket when she became unconscious from her suicide bid.
