Chelsea Maldonado, 7, was handicapped and confined to her wheel chair. Maldonado managed to fall out of the window of her family’s apartment on the 5th floor, on Wed., Dec. 24. Maldonado, of NYC, died on Thur., Dec. 25 from her injuries.

Maldonado had sight only in 1 eye. She was autistic and used a wheelchair. The lower half of the window had a child protection guard. Police have not established how Maldonado fell out of the window. Neighbors heard the family screaming for help after Maldonado fell.
