Charles McArthur Emmanuel, also known as Charles “Chuckie” Taylor Jr., was convicted of torture, firearms and conspiracy charges. Emmanuel or Taylor Jr is the son of ex Liberia President Charles Taylor. Emmanuel, 31, was accused of being involved in crimes committed overseas. Emmanuel/ Taylor Jr is a U.S. citizen and can be prosecuted for his crimes even when they were committed overseas.
