Charles Aundrell Bell, 29, shot his former girlfriend, Amber Lashea Pinkney, 27, at a hospital in Tyler, Texas. Pinkney works at the hospital. Bell waited for Pinkney to arrive at the hospital to start work and shot her.

Pinkney was shot in her jaw, hand and shoulder. Doctors operated on Pinkney and she is recuperating from her wounds. Pinkney is in a serious condition she is stable.

Bell shot himself after firing at Pinkney. Bell died from his self inflicted gunshot wound.
