Eve Marie Carson died on March 5, 2008. Today is the first anniversary of the death of Eve Carson. Carson was the Student Body President at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Laurence Alvin Lovette Jr, then 17, and Demario James Atwater, 21, were arrested and charged with the murder of Eve Carson. Lovette can’t be sentenced to death because he was below 18 at the time the murder was committed. Prosecutors seek the death penalty for Atwater.

The motive for the shooting death of Carson was robbery. Carson’s ATM card was used to withdraw cash. Details and photos of the story of Eve Carson are at the link.
