ChadMichael Morrisette decorated his house’s exterior with an effigy of Sarah Palin and it was hanging from a hangman’s noose. On his roof top, an effigy of John McCain is seated in a pot of flames. You can look at the photos at the link.

West Hollywood’s LA County Sheriff Department spokesman, Steve Whitmore, said ChadMichael Morrisette’s effigy of Palin hanging by the noose was part of a Halloween display and not a hate crime.

West Hollywood Mayor Jeffrey Prang said that he acknowledged a resident’s right to free speech but in his opinion, the hanging effigy of Sarah Palin was a potential problem and should be removed. ChadMichael Morrisette also displayed a John McCain effigy seated in a base of flames. Do you agree with the LA County Sheriff Department? Let the hanging Palin effigy remain?
