Cecil Suwal was sentenced on Thursday, Jan 29, for her role in running the prostitute ring used by Eliot Spitzer, the former New York Governor. Cecil Suwal received her sentence in Manhattan, NY.

Cecil Suwal received leniency as prosecutors asked the judge to give her 2 years. Suwal was sentenced to 6 months in prison for managing the Emperors Club VIP escort service.

Suwal’s lawyer asked for leniency. Suwal was allegedly involved through an older boyfriend who dominated over her. Cecil Suwal had pleaded not guilty to charges of money laundering and promoting prostitution.
