Don Lemmon interviewed Catherine Donnelly about her experience rooming with Michelle Obama. The video is below. Donnelly was assigned as Michelle Obama’s room mate at college.

Donnelly’s mother was against the idea that her daughter had to room with an African American. According to Catherine, her mother was afraid she would be unduly influenced by Michelle Obama.
