KSEE, a CNN affiliate, showed a video of a violent arrest by the Fresno Police Department. The victim was Glen Beaty, 52. Beaty is a homeless man with a pats record of resisting arrest. An amateur videographer sent KSEE the footage.

Judge Mark Ciavarella has been convicted on federal fraud charges. Ciavarella has been sentenced to prison. Before he goes in, Ciavarella has sent a letter to President Judge Chester Muroski. Ciavarella made a last minute attempt to address certain allegations he claimed were false.

Ronald Haddad Jr, 28, of South Park Avenue, was arrested for making threats in interstate communications. Haddad allegedly mailed 25 letters and packages and emails.

Joe Prebul was arrested on charges of wire fraud. Prebul is an auto dealer in Chattanooga. Prebul, 48, is accused of making fraudulent wire transfers involving more than $7 million. Prebul allegedly scammed his relative by claiming the money would be invested.

Mustafa Mustafa, 27,of Chicago, led police on a car chase around Los Angeles before he fatally shot himself. Mustafa operated a luxury car rental business called Chicago Exotic Car Rentals Inc. Mustafa had financial troubles.
