The Rhino virus or common cold virus struck children in Philadelphia. The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia saw an increase in the numbers of kids with rhinovirus, which gave symptoms like the common cold.

The US Preventive Services Task Force announced two recommendations –
1) Women get mammograms to screen for cancer when they are 50 years old and above.
2) Women should not diagnose using self examinations of their breasts.

Thomas Lessman, of Germany, weighed 507 pounds, or 230 kg. Lessman was too heavy for an X-ray at the local clinic. They told Lessman to go to the zoo for an X-ray. Lessman refused.
