Catalino Ramos Vazquez and Pedro Avila Ramos, both 19, drowned after they were swept out to the sea. A teen, 17, in the same group also drowned but his name has not been released until his next of kin has been informed.

Catalino Ramos Vazquez and Pedro Avila Ramos were at Mugu Rock, near Point Mugu, California. The Rock is an outcropping along California’s Central Coast. This scenic location has been used in TV shows, commercials and movies. The shale cliffs are crumbling and there is a record of injuries and drowning at Mugu Rock.
