Casey Aldridge, Jamie Lynn Spears’ boyfriend, was in an accident. Aldridge was involved in a single car accident. Aldridge was charged with careless operation of a motor vehicle. Police gave Aldridge a ticket.

Some reports said Aldridge and four passengers were in the car. The identities of the other occupants were unconfirmed. The accident was on Saturday night/ early Sunday morning at around 1:30 am. Police said Aldridge was driving on LA 606 in Tensas Parish, in Louisiana, when he lost control of his vehicle.

Aldridge was sent to the Riverland Medical Facility in Ferriday, Louisiana. He was transferred to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. A source said Casey Aldridge has a cracked skull, or more accurately, a skull fracture around his hairline. His condition was stable in hospital. Aldridge has to stay in hospital for a few days for observation.

Aldridge’s vehicle went into a ditch. He attempted to drive out of the hole and over corrected, causing the vehicle to flip over. Out of the five people, three were ejected from the vehicle and all survived.

One passenger had a broken collar bone. One has suspected hip injuries. The third has bruises. Jamie Lynn Spears has visited Aldridge in hospital.

Police spoke to Casey Aldridge about 4 hours after the accident. They did not suspect drinking to be the cause of the accident.
