Carolyn Warmus: Convicted killer Warmus story & pictures

The story of Carolyn Warmus has been made into a movie called “A Murderous Affair.” Warmus was accused of shooting to death the wife of her lover, Paul Solomon.

Paul Solomon discovered the body of his wife, Betty Jeanne Solomon. Betty Jeanne had been shot 8 times. Carolyn Warmus was tried and convicted for the murder of Betty Jeanne Solomon. Warmus was sentenced to the maximum of 25 years in prison on June 26, 1992. Warmus would be eligible for parole in 2017, when she would be 53 years old.

Carolyn Warmus sued the prison in 2004. Warmus won a lawsuit with a $10,000 settlement from the Department of Correctional Services. Warmus claimed that she was sexually abused and deprived of rights at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility. Warmus said she was forced to have sex with the prison officers if she wanted time out of her cell.
