Caroline Wimmer, a brunette, was found dead. Wimmer, 26, of Greenleaf Avenue, Staten Island, was discovered dead by her father. Wimmer was found with a hair dryer cord around her neck.

Wimmer may have been strangled by the cord but police have to wait for the autopsy to confirm this. Nothing appeared out of place in Wimmer’s apartment. There were no signs of forced entry. Apparently, her father went to check on her after being unreachable since Saturday, March 28.
