After being Playmate of the Year 2004, Garcia was featured in Sports Illustrated 2008. Carmella Garcia admitted to having breast implants in 2005.

Garcia was charged and tried for fighting Kristen Hine on Sept 10, 2004. In Jan 12, 2005, Garcia was acquitted of the charge. Garcia was only guilty of violating a restraining order. Garcia got off lightly. Garcia told the court Hine and her then boyfriend, Jeff Garcia, were involved in a relationship while Jeff Garcia was dating her.

Jeff and Carmella mended. DeCesare married Jeff Garcia in April 21, 2007. Presley Garcia was born in April 28, 2008. Jeff and Carmella Garcia are expecting their second child.
